These reducers/butt-up moldings are made from beautiful USA Northeastern Red Oak Lumber. This product comes prefinished with a natural color stain applied along with a clear top coat for protection. It comes drilled with very small holes and nails included, making it easy to nail down. The nail holes are angled in a way that holds the molding firmly in place, all while using very small nails and holes so the natural beauty of this molding isn't hindered by exposed nails. This item is completely ready to be installed, all you need to do is cut it to size and nail it down with the nails provided, or glue it down if desired. Reducers are used from a higher floor height to a lower floor height, providing a smooth transition between different flooring heights. ADA compliant.
